Executive Board
The Executive Board is elected by our membership every two years, at an Annual General Meeting that usually takes place as part of our international conference. The current Executive Board is:

Scientific Advisor
This board role ensures we remain committed to approaches that are appropriate and aligned with Wind Empowerment Values and will best promote the organization’s mission.

Coordinator
The coordinator works closely with each member of the board, also with working groups, and external stakeholders, to promote the mission of Wind Empowerment and its members.

Communication
The communications executive works with other members of the board and on behalf of members specifically with website, social media and correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.

Operations
The operations executive works with other members of the board and on behalf of members specifically focussed on harmonising synergies across the network.
Karana
Fundraising
Seeking sources of partnership across an array of opportunities, working within entrepreneurial contexts for both Wind Empowerment as an executive, but further still a source of support to members.
Kirk
Secretary
The Secretarial Executive is responsible for administrative duties with the Coordinator and other members of the board including meetings, stakeholder engagement.
Jorge
Treasurer
Fiduciary responsibility for charity accounts, with Secretary and Coordinator managing charity finances.
We aim to have an open and inclusive decision making process, which is achieved by:
- All members are welcome to attend Executive Board meetings.
- Minutes of the executive board meetings will be available on the Executive Board Discussion Forum.
- In order to increase accessibility for people with busy schedules or with English as a second language, as much of the decision making process as possible will be conducted on the Executive Board Discussion Forum.
