[WEOnline2020] Delivery Models WG Session
November 28, 2020 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Agenda
Introduction
by Katerina Troullaki, DM WG coordinator
This working group deals with issues related to the sustainability of locally manufactured small wind turbines. Delivery models are strategies for delivering energy to users in a sustainable way. We focus on the relationship of technology with the social-ecological system surrounding it: the users, the community, the market actors, the institutions, the ecosystems. While at the beginning of this working group, the interpretation of sustainability was “the ability of the technology to provide the energy services required by the end-users“, today sustainability is also related with impacts at planetary level. These sustainability aspects are also incorporated in this WG.
