Education is a key to locally manufactured small wind turbines (LMSWT) technology dissemination and evolution. At school, wind turbines are a good case study to understand physics, while it raises awareness about renewable energy. On the field, education to maintenance makes the community of wind pilots able to take good care of their wind turbine and repair them in case of trouble, empowering energy production communities and leading to more resilience. In several countries, education through LMSWT building courses enable small businesses to function.
