The Technology Working Group has engaged at the end of WEAthens2014 to find a method which can be used to translate the ideas from the WE community into research and deployment projects. This webinar will present the method to the WE community, describe its different steps and use examples to illustrate its use. The main objective of the TechWG is to get as many returns from the WE community as possible concerning the method and its application.
About the speaker
We will be hosting Luiz Villa, and he will be presenting “A method which can be used to translate the ideas from the WE community into research and deployment projects”. The presentation will be in English.
A bit about Luiz, he is an electrical engineer from the University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. He’s been working with renewable energies for the past 5 years, when he had the opportunity to prepare a masters and PhD thesis on photovoltaic energy and power electronics at the University of Grenoble, France. Luiz is now an associate professor at the Unversity of Toulouse, France, where he researches new DC grids, smart modular power electronics systems and renewable sources of energy. He’s been a member of WE since mid-2014 and is now the Technology WG coordinator.
