| El diciembre pasado, el Ministerio de Energía y Minas (MEM), Soluciones Prácticas (antes ITDG), Green Empowerment , Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy y la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI) convocaron el Simposio Internacional de Energía Eólica de Pequeña Escala en Lima, Perú con el objetivo de “difundir los avances en la investigación y aplicación de la energía eólica de pequeña escala y su potencial para la generación de electricidad aislada.” Fue una oportunidad excelente por discusión y la compartición de ideas entre diseñadores, fabricantes y instaladores de turbinas, ONGs, ministros del govierno, investigadores y consultantes. Además de exposiciones, hubo una visita al túnel de viento de la universidad, un foro de discusión y unas visitas al campo para ver turbinas de Soluciones Prácticas y de Waira. |
Last December, the Ministerio de Energía y Minas (MEM), Soluciones Prácticas (antes ITDG), Green Empowerment , Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy and the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI) held the Simposio Internacional de Energía Eólica de Pequeña Escala (International Simposium on Small Scale Wind Energy) in Lima, Peru, with the aim of “disseminating advances in the research and application of small scale wind energy and its potential to generate off-grid power.” It was an excellent opportunity for discussion and the sharing of ideas between turbine designers, manufacturers and installers, NGOs, government ministers, researchers and consultants. As well as presentations, there was a visit to the university’s wind tunnel, discussion forum and field trips to see Soluciones Prácticas and Waira’s turbines. |
| Participaron los que fabrican turbinas localmente en el Perú o en su propio país, los que importan turbinas y los que las fabrican para exportación, incluso varios miembros de WindEmpowerment, tal como blueEnergy, CIFRES/EolSénégal y WindAid. El resultado fue un foro de discusión muy exitoso con varias diferentes perspectivas y mucha experiencia. Al final del foro se resolvió seguir comunicando por WindEmpowerment. Participants included local manufacturers of turbines from Peru and abroad, importers of turbines and manufacturers who export turbines, including various members of WindEmpowerment, such as blueEnergy, CIFRES/EolSénégal and WindAid. As a result, the discussion forum was very successful with many different perspectives and a lot of experience. At the end of the forum, it was decided to continue communicating through WindEmpowerment. Therefore, I would like to give a warm welcome to all the new members of our association and I look forward to hearing all the new ideas and experiences that they will bring with them. |
