Wooden Wind Turbine Blades
KAPEG’s wooden wind turbine blades are hand-made from sustainably grown local Nepalese woods. After extensive testing, these local woods have been found to often have superior properties to traditional wind blade materials such as glass reinforced polypropylene / glass fiber.
Experience has shown that these blades can be made for a lower or comparable cost to imported blades, and since they are made from sustainable materials, are a more environmentally friendly option. Purchasing KAPEG Wooden Wind Turbine Blades also supports local industry and livlihoods in Nepal.
The blades can be made to suit generators in the 100 – 400 watt range.
Please contact KAPEG for more information on these innovative products.
