A video that 500rpm put together showcasing their last year’s wind-water pumping activities!
During 2019 we implemented the Project: “Improvement and diffusion of the water pumping system with wind energy and electronic control. Solutions for rural residents of the Patagonian steppe of Argentina.” The objective that we share between # Fundación500RPM and # LCA-UNSL (Laboratory of Automatic Control of the National University of San Luis), is to develop a robust, effective, efficient and accessible pumping system for rural residents of Argentina and the world.
The developed system consists of: a 350W #Piggott wind turbine; a diaphragm pump (popularly known as a “toad pump”); an electronic system consisting of a small bicycle motor and an electronic board (this allows the system to be operated without the use of batteries).

Durante 2019 implementamos el Proyecto: “Mejora y difusión del sistema de bombeo de agua con energía eólica y control electrónico. Soluciones para pobladores rurales de la estepa patagónica de Argentina”. El objetivo que compartimos entre #Fundación500RPM y #LCA-UNSL (Laboratorio de Control Automático de la Universidad Nacional de San Luis), es desarrollar un sistema de bombeo robusto, eficaz, eficiente y accesible para el pobladores rurales de Argentina, y del mundo.
El sistema desarrollado se compone: de un aerogenerador #Piggott de 350W; una bomba de diafragma (popularmente conocida como “bomba sapo”); un sistema electrónico que se compone de un pequeño motor de bicicleta y una placa electrónica (esto permite accionar el sistema sin uso de baterías).
