Some very interesting news from our member in Estonia, TUGE Energia!
The Estonian government has recently established a pilot support programme as part of a larger EU initiative to help combat the consequences of climate change caused by developed countries.
In short, they are supporting projects where Estonian green technology can be applied to help developing countries. TUGE Energia is a producer of small wind turbines with experience in hybrid projects (with solar and battery storage), so they are eligible to apply, however they lack contacts in target countries to find a project where they can contribute.
If any organization is interested in working together with TUGE Energia to install a small wind turbine (and possibly additional systems – it is meant to help, so it should be according to the actual needs on site) for a municipality, community, hospital, school etc, then please contact them directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Additional activities like training, workshops etc. can be taken into account as part of the project.
Deadline for applications: End of August
