Hello and welcome to the fourth v3 newsletter.
Our main news is that the lovely Jack is off travelling and Robin has joined us to take over as co-ordinator. Robin comes from a background in helping to establish community energy co-operatives and is looking forward to supporting more groups to take their power into their own hands with DIY renewable energy!
We are currently busy:
Promoting our ‘Hand Build Wind Turbine’ courses taking place inLondon andin Bristol in April next year.
Preparing for bicycle powered cinema events in Beeston and Eastwood in Nottingham in late November as part of the Christmas lights switch on.
Preparing for our third Hand Built Wind Turbine workshop with students from Exeter University Renewable Energy course in January.
We’re also looking at doing a course in Manchester in 2016, so do contact us if this would be of interest.

Our friends at Demand Energy Equality have a Winter program of workshops building DIY Solar Chargersand Intro to Off-Grid. They are taking place in London on the weekend of 21st and 22nd November here.
Climate March and CoP21
On the 28th and 29th November, the eve of the U.N. climate talks people in cities across the world are taking to the streets in a Global Climate March to keep fossil fuels in the ground and to demand a just transition to 100% renewable energy by 2050.
The People’s Climate Summit with take place in Paris on the 5th and 6th December including a “Global Village of Alternatives” which will introduce participants to concrete alternative solutions, both local and international, for climate and social justice.
A Climate Action Zone from will then build momentum towards D12, the largest mass action for climate justice on the 12th December.
