Webinar : Wooden Tower Design

Nick Smallman kicked off the webinar series for 2015 by talking about his current project.

Nick graduated from Cardiff University in 2012 with a Civil Engineering degree. He is currently a Structural Engineer at Ramboll in the Wind and Towers department and is presently working on feasibility, concept, detailed design of offshore foundations. He is working on the guyed wooden lattice tower for a 3m diameter Hugh Piggot turbine with the partner charity I Love Wind Power in Brazil, where the full scale installation will take place this coming July.
